This ring is bead set with one Old European cut diamond measuring approximately 5.22 x 5.19 x 2.59 mm for an estimated weight of 0.46 cts and grades SI2 in clarity and I-J in color. Bead set on either side of the center gem are single cut diamonds measuring approximately 6 @ 1.6 mm for a total estimated weight of 0.16 cts and grade I 2&3 in clarity and I-J in color. There is one scissor-cut synthetic blue sapphire channel set, each measuring approximately 2 @ 3.5 x 1.5 and were produced by the Flame Fusion process. This ring tapers from approximately 13.6 - 1.3 mm, weighs 3.3 grams and has a fairly good finish. This piece appears to have been created circa 1920 - 1930. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. |
