One lady’s, Scottish agate silver brooch in "St. Andrew's" cross motif, circa 1850. The brooch consist of a hollow outer circle measuring approximately.... 2 inches in diameter and set with blood stone, cornelian and a single piece of mother of pear. Center is set with blood stone, cornelian and cairngorm or citrine. Condition: one outer bloodstone is chipped, one cornelian is cracked and mother of pearl is probably a replacement for another bloodstone. Damage on back probably done when original "C" catch was replaced first part of 20th century. No G.I.A. report. |
