This ring is bar set with one rectangular step cut topaz measuring approximately... 10.21 x 8.03 x 6.4 mm for an estimated weight determined by formula of 4.81 cts and grades SI in clarity and is medium light, very slightly grayish, very slightly greenish blue. Blue topaz may have been irradiated and then heat treated to create this stable color. Topaz is rated good for everyday wear. Avoid direct sunlight, exposure to heat, and chemicals. This bright-polished step cut ring tapers from approximately 8.4-4.5 mm, weighs 7.7 grams and has a good finish. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. |
