This ring prong set with three round brilliant natural blue sapphire measuring approximately as follows: 6 mm, 5.1 mm, and 5.1 mm for an estimated total weight of 2.44 cts and grade SI in clarity with fairly good cuts. There are also four prong set Old European cut diamonds measuring approximately as follows: 3.2 mm, 3.4 mm, 3.3 mm, and 3.2 mm for an estimate total weight of 0.53 cts. These diamonds grade VS-SI in clarity and G-H in color. There are six bead set single cut diamonds each measuring approximately 1.3 mm for an estimated total weight of 0.12 cts. These diamonds grade SI in clarity and G-I in color. The piece appears to have been created circa 1920. The ring weighs 6.3 grams and has a fairly good finish. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. |
